TD Bank Presence

TD Bank operates primarily across the East Coast of the United States. It has a presence in fifteen states and Washington, D.C. These states include Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia. This extensive network allows TD Bank to serve a wide range of customers in these areas.

Understanding Qualifying Direct Deposit

Definition: Qualifying direct deposits typically include regular income deposits, such as salary, pension, government benefits, or other monthly income electronically deposited by an employer or an outside agency.

Exclusions: It’s important to note that certain types of deposits may not count towards the qualifying amount. This often includes but is not limited to, transfers from one account to another, peer-to-peer transfers, and deposits made at physical locations or ATMs. Visit each the particular bank’s offer page using the link I provided below the tables.

Evaluation Period and Bonus Payout: The qualifying direct deposits need to be made within a specific timeframe after opening the account. The exact duration of this evaluation period should be confirmed as per the latest terms and conditions provided by the bank.

Once the conditions are met, the bonus is usually credited to your account within a stipulated period of at most 180days. Some banks pay this bonus within 30 days.

Bottom Line

Before signing up on any of these Banks offering sign up bonuses, it’s essential to always think it through. Many of these banks require you to maintain a steady income and a minimum balance in your account. Failing to meet these criteria could result in a monthly fee to keep your account active. It’s important to weigh whether the benefit of a $300 or $400 bonus justifies the long-term commitment and usage of the account. Make an informed decision that aligns with your financial habits and needs.
